Groups: Support Groups play an integral part at RVMOM. Our Support
Group provides information, support and fun for any MOM who needs a
night out with other MOMs going through what they are going through.
Support Group is an informal get-together someplace local and everyone
Playgroups: We have several playgroups organized where MOMs can bring
their children and spend a morning or afternoon together. The
playgroups are sometimes held at a member’s home, nearby
park/playground or even at the mall. They are fun for the children and
the MOMs who take part in it.
Speakers: One of our most exciting features is the Guest Speaker
program. At most of the RVMOM meetings, we have guest speakers who
lecture, inform, inspire, and sometimes entertain us on a wide variety
of topics. In the past, we have had speakers who dealt with post-partum
depression, organizing clutter in our lives, toddler behavior issues,
we have also had senior members talking about older multiples and what
Big Sister/Little Sister Program: This is fantastic program for our new
MOMs! When a new MOM becomes a member of our club, a Big Sister will be
assigned to her. Her Big Sister is her contact to the club when she is
starting out, calling as her special guide and support.
Meals for MOMs: Whether you are a new MOM or a joyful & experienced
MOM, this program may be of great benefit to you. If any MOM is
undergoing illness or surgery, let us know and the coordinator of this
program will contact club members who will provide and bring meals to
Children’s Socials: Funs things for our children! We usually have two a
year; one around the holidays and another in the Spring. We also
arrange group trips to cool places like Sesame Place, Crayola Factory,
The Big Apple Circus, just to name a few. These events make for a great
day for the entire family!
